forty followers howled back with a prompt; forty poems came in answer, written live on instagram under the super sturgeon moon of august 12, 2022. each one carries the prompter's handle at its foot - the wolf wrote them, but the night belonged to all of us.
read them, share them, use them.

"the hidden verse"
poems within poems
the truth was always there; hidden in the bold.
old poems, read a second way. in each verse the bold words, read alone, form a hidden second poem - the simple truth buried in the metaphor. beneath each poem that line is written out by hand; and read in order, across all twenty-four, the bold lines gather into one lost poem.
read the whole, then read the bold.
it was always there.

"fairy love"
a love story in verse · a collaboration with @fairy.world.poetry
two voices, written in answer to each other.
a rare collaboration. @the_wildwolf wrote the wolf; @fairy.world.poetry wrote the fairy. each part answered the last - free form, unplanned - a wolf seeking his fairy through enchanted forests, across time and space. the aventurine; the green stone of their love, sealed in a pendant, forever lighting.
a wolf, and a fairy.
told in seven parts, in two hands.
