@the_wildwolf began in 2020; one anonymous voice, posting poetry into instagram in the dark - no name, no face. some of the words saved him. some found others who needed them too.

it grew - past six thousand who followed the howl, a reach of 10.2 million in 2024 - then went quiet. back into hibernation; holding all the words, waiting to release them here, on the open web.

poetry saved a life; first his own, then others. that is the whole of it. not cleverness, not performance - the kind of knowing you only earn by living it. a metaphor can hold what plain words can't carry; it can reach a person in the dark and tell them, in a language they already feel, that they are not alone.
